Speech pathologist and author of multiple picture books, Clay Hadden’s job gives him an interesting perspective into understanding children’s interests. He aspires to provide children with inspiration in order to play with their world through books and music. Hadden believes children benefit from art which connects with them and also respects them.
As a young man, Hadden was always writing, which now translates into his career. When he began working with kids, he began writing for them as well. He says the first step he took was merely “sitting down and writing,” and that, “getting the ideas down and focused was so super important.”
