Theresa McEvoy is the author of the Elves and Dragons of Vacari series which weaves together mythical creatures and ancient alliances in stories that explore courage, unity, and the enduring struggle between light and darkness. After her lifelong love of imaginative storytelling, Theresa decided to turn those ideas into a novel. Her work began as a single idea before developing into multiple interconnected series centered on dragons, elves, and the ties which shape their fates.
Fantastical worlds are built throughout Theresa’s books, alongside the development of character histories and overarching storylines. Within them, there is an all-encompassing narrative which allows the world to grow through culture and lore surrounding the magical inhabitants of her universe. She highlights the importance of maintaining continuity while also allowing the stories to evolve into their fullest potential.
Theresa’s goal as a writer is to create stories to “remind readers that hope, unity, and perseverance matter, even in the darkest moments.” Through her works, she hopes to build characters that reflect the strength found when people stand together. Theresa emphasizes the importance of learning, refining, and creating consistently, “even when the path forward feels uncertain.”
